FLOAT:

Combine Rum, Gin, Cognac, Lemon, Pineapple, Falernum, and Grenadine in a shaker and shake with Ice Cubes. Dump into a 14oz Hurricane glass or Tiki Mug. 

Add Float of Orgeat and Dry Curaçao mixture. Top with crushed ice. Flaming lime and Mint garnish.

Finish by praying to Hawaiian Fire Diety.

The Contender

I've been shaking with crushed ice and dumping into a 14oz glass tiki mug. Garnish is a flaming lemon pot, coconut shrimp on a steel swizzle stick, and a mint sprig.

Kinamona Pom Tiki

  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 oz Cinnamon-Infused Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Jamaica Rum
  • 1 oz Silver Rum
  • 1/2 oz Apple Brandy
  • 1/2 oz Allspice Dram
  • 1/4 oz Falernum
  • 1/4 oz Honey-Flavored Liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Orange Curaçao
  • 8 drops Tiki Bitters

Shake with ice, pour into Collins glass.
Top with 1/2 oz Dark Jamaica Rum.  Garnish with 2 cinnamon sticks

Mix all ingredients, except allspice with crushed ice
Dump in rocks glass
Float allspice
Garnish with cinnamon, fresh grated nutmeg and orange zest w Rumrapped cinnamon stick

⦁    3 oz Jamaica Rum
⦁    ½ oz Tiki Falernum Syrup
⦁    ½ oz Tiki Passion Fruit Syrup
⦁    ½ oz Tiki Ginger Syrup
⦁    1 ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Add to a Boston shaker with ice.  Shake until chilled, strain into your favorite Tiki mug filled with crushed ice and garnish with lemon zest, a mint sprig and Tiki swizzle. Add a straw and serve.

Dark Continent

⦁    2 ½ oz. Dark Rum
⦁    ¾ oz. Ginger Syrup
⦁    ½0 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
⦁    ¼ oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
⦁    1 Egg White

Pour rum, ginger syrup, lemon juice and egg white into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for 60 seconds. Strain into ice filled tiki head mug and garnish with an edible flower. Add straw and enjoy!
 

Orange Spice Nogg

⦁    1 oz Triple Sec
⦁    1 oz Heavy Cream
⦁    1 oz Vodka
⦁    3/4 oz Vanilla Liqueur
⦁    1/2 oz Donns Spices #2
⦁    1 Egg White
⦁    dash of Orange Bitters
⦁    dash of Barrel Aged Bitters
⦁    3-4 drops Orange Flower Water ( carefully )

Dry shake very well until blended. (Small hand blender or drink mixer makes it easy.)  Add ice and shake until just cold, strain into 8 oz cocktail or wine glass, dust lightly with spice mix.

Spice mix
⦁    1 tablespoon Fresh Ground Nutmeg
⦁    1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Ginger

Mix and store until needed.

Eldritch Zombie

  • 2 heavy dashes of Bitters
  • 6 drops Absinthe
  • 3 drops Almond Extract
  • 1 1/2oz Lime Juice
  • 3/4oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2oz BG Reynolds Passion Fruit Syrup
  • 1/2oz BG Reynolds Falernum
  • 1/2oz Apricot Liqueur
  • 1/2oz Okolehao Liqueur
  • 1oz Dark Rum
  • 1oz Golden Rum
  • 1oz Overproof Rum
  • 1/2oz Campari

Shake all ingredients with ice and pour unstrained into a tall 16oz glass
Float 1/2oz Campari
Garnish with a mint sprig, orange twist and a hollowed out flaming lime pot

Swizzle all ingredients with crushed ice. Pour into a hurricane glass and float bitters. Garnish with an orchid and powdered sugar.

Fall-ernum Folly

  • 1 1/2 oz Golden Rum
  • 1 oz. Apple Brandy or Applejack
  • 1/2 oz. Falernum
  • 1/4 Fresh Lime
  • 1 tsp. Tamarind Pulp

Squeeze 1/4 to 1/2 lime (to taste) into a mixing glass. Muddle lime juice and peel with with a heaping teaspoon of tamarind pulp.Add booze, falernum, and ice and shake. Strain into a martini glass, optionally rimmed with cinnamon sugar.

Devil's Own

⦁    ½ oz Amaro
⦁    ¼ oz Triple Sec
⦁    1 tsp Vanilla Syrup

Stir with ice and strain into a coupe that has been rinsed with absinthe. Add a twist of lemon and discard the peel (no garnish).

Shake all ingredients except Club Soda over ice cubes. Pour all (including ice) into a Highball glass, top with Soda, and garnish with an unbroken ring of lemon rind on top of the ice (the hula hoop).

Don's Spicy Mix

Combine ingredients, shake with ice and serve up in a chilled glass.

⦁    1 oz. Orange Juice (fresh is best, carton is fine)
⦁    1 oz. Aged Jamaican Rum
⦁    1 oz. Aged Haitian Rum (An agricole from Martinique would be intriguing.)
⦁    ½ oz. Coconut Rum
⦁    ½ oz.  Triple Sec
⦁    ½ oz. Vanilla Syrup
⦁    dash Grenadine

Shake over cracked ice, strain and serve over FRESH ice in a hollowed pineapple, or if you are deprived, a double old-fashioned glass with a cocktail stick spearing a pineapple chunk and a cocktail cherry.

Prescription Julep

  • 1 ½ oz. Cognac
  • ½ oz. rye whiskey
  • ½ oz Rich Demerara syrup
  • ½ oz overproof rum
  • 6 fresh mint leaves

Put mint leaves and syrup into the bottom of a julep cup, and gently muddle. Fill the cup with crushed ice, and pour in Cognac and Rye. Stir gently. Add more crushed ice on top, float the rum, and top with a rich bouquet of mint sprigs.

QB Cooler

  • ½ oz Lime juice
  • 1 oz Orange juice
  • ½ oz Falernum

  • ½ oz Demerara rum

  • 1 oz Soda water

Mix all ingredients except soda with crushed ice and pour into a hurricane glass. Top with soda water and more crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig bouquet.
