Pop culture monsters are super cyclical. Dracula and Frankenstein really dominated the scene for decades of the 19th and 20th centuries, only to eventually give way to those sexy vampires and werewolves. Now we’re in full-blown zombie craze, so we think it’s pretty appropriate to bring back this classic drink for the masses.
Donn Beach kicked off the tiki cocktail craze in 1937 with his first iteration of the Zombie Punch, and our Zombie Punch mixer pays respect to his creation while adding a touch of Blair’s imagination and originality as well. It’s complex and robust, perfect for the bartender in need of a specialty cocktail or the home grill master looking to impress his guests at the next backyard bash.
We combined Donnie Boy’s original recipe with real pomegranate, lime, and a special blend of grapefruit and cinnamon from our Paradise Blend. All you need is a shot or two of your favorite overproof rum and our Zombie Punch can bring those taste buds back to life—but just for safety, you may want to reinforce those windows and doors while you’re at it. We’ve seen one too many Walking Dead episodes to take this one lightly.
Ingredients: Water, sugar, white grapefruit juice, brown sugar (sugar, invert sugar, cane molasses), pink grapefruit juice, lime juice. Contains less than 2%: pomegranate juice, angostura bitters, overproof rum, xantham gum, citric acid, spices & natural flavoring. Not more than 0.5% alcohol by volume.
